Overview

Greater Tzaneen Municipality invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the position of General Worker (Operations & Maintenance) within the Electrical Services Department. The role supports construction, maintenance, and cleaning activities related to electrical infrastructure and municipal facilities.

Key Responsibilities

-Perform general labour tasks in support of electrical operations

-Assist electrical staff with maintenance and installation of electrical infrastructure

-Clean substations, stores areas, and work environments

-Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas

-Support daily operations to meet Council service delivery objectives

---

Requirements & Skills

-Basic literacy (very basic level required)

-Ability to perform physical labour

-Willingness to work in operational and maintenance environments

Remuneration & Benefits

• R189 031.08 per annum (Job Level 17)
