Overview

Cure Day Hospitals is a fast-growing healthcare group with 14 operational hospitals across South Africa. The Gqeberha facility is seeking 3 experienced Cleaners to join their team.

This role is critical in maintaining hospital hygiene standards and ensuring a clean, safe and infection-controlled environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of allocated hospital areas according to schedule
• Carry out special cleaning projects such as strip and seal of floors
• Participate in Health and Safety checks
• Report faults or maintenance issues to management
• Follow all prescribed Health & Safety and Infection Control regulations
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness within hospital and theatre environments

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Grade 8 or equivalent qualification
• Previous hospital cleaning experience is mandatory
• Experience in operating theatre cleaning will be a strong advantage
• Ability to use buff machines and perform floor maintenance
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and Infection Control principles
• Willingness to work shifts
• Ability to consistently adhere to healthcare standards
• Responsible and reliable work ethic
• Traceable references
