Overview

These positions are responsible for delivering a world-class shopping experience at the point of sale while ensuring accurate transactions, proper merchandising and strict compliance with company policies and procedures.

Whether permanent, casual or fixed-term, the roles require professionalism, honesty and strong customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately (cash, cards, vouchers and loyalty cards)
• Ensure safe and secure handling of cash
• Maintain high standards of customer service
• Assist with merchandising and stock presentation
• Ensure correct pricing and labelling
• Handle returns and exchanges according to company policy
• Escalate unresolved customer complaints to management
• Adhere to security and standard operating procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• For the Store Driver role: Deliver goods safely and professionally to customers

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum 6 months cashier or till experience (for cashier roles)
• Computer literacy
• Strong numerical skills
• Good command of English
• Willing and able to work retail hours, including weekends
• South African citizen
• Clear criminal and credit record
• Reliable transport or reside near the store
