Sasol is recruiting an Extra Heavy Duty Driver (Lubricants) to join Energy Marketing & Sales (MSA) in Secunda. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy-duty vehicles to deliver Sasol lubricants to customers.

Purpose of the Job

To ensure the safe, timely and accurate delivery of Sasol lubricant products to customers while complying with all safety, operational and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute on-time and accurate lubricant deliveries
  • Ensure reliable (in full and on time) deliveries using own fleet
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report defects
  • Execute deliveries according to approved delivery sequence
  • Complete delivery documentation accurately
  • Minimise unproductive time
  • Identify and report operational risks, including OHS Act requirements
  • Report and log incidents and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Comply with site rules, SHERQ standards and operational procedures
  • Adhere to company policies to ensure safe and accurate task execution

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Code EC (Code 14) Driverโ€™s Licence
  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years heavy-duty driving experience
