Overview

Successful candidates will support customer service at point of sale while ensuring a world-class shopping experience. The role requires accurate transaction processing, strict adherence to company policies, and zero tolerance for inaccuracies or fraud risk.

Key Responsibilities

-Operate the cash register and process all payments accurately

-Handle cash, vouchers, refunds, and loyalty programmes

-Ensure all line voids and price changes are authorised

-Maintain confidentiality of daily takings

-Prevent fraud and report suspicious behaviour

-Promote current sales and loyalty programmes

-Adhere to security and customer service policies

-Maintain professional relationships with customers

-For Supervisors: Oversee cashiers and liaise with store management

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Strong numerical skills
• Strong command of English (written and verbal)
• Willing and able to work retail hours
• South African citizen
• Clear credit and criminal record
