Overview

The Cashier will be responsible for assisting customers, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring customers receive a friendly and efficient service experience.

Successful candidates will play an important role in creating a positive dining experience while supporting daily restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Welcome and assist customers professionally

• Provide friendly and efficient service

• Answer customer queries regarding menu items

• Ensure customers have a positive restaurant experience

Cashier Duties

• Process customer orders accurately

• Handle cash and card transactions

• Operate point-of-sale systems

• Maintain accuracy when handling payments

Order Management

• Capture customer orders correctly

• Communicate orders to the kitchen team

• Assist in ensuring orders are completed accurately

Team Support

• Work closely with restaurant team members

• Assist during busy trading periods

• Follow company procedures and operational standards

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric)

Additional Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods

• Ability to work shifts and flexible hours

• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays

• Must live close to the restaurant

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work under pressure
