Food Lover’s Market in Middelburg is looking for a hardworking and reliable Cleaner to join their team.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and organised environments. The successful candidate will assist with cleaning duties in residences and office buildings while ensuring high hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

– Clean floors, rooms, offices, and common areas.
– Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise workspaces.
– Clean windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, and partitions.
– Clean and sanitise restrooms and refill hygiene dispensers.
– Empty trash bins and replace liners.
– Set up and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
– Transport dirty linen and restock clean linen where required.
– Monitor cleanliness and organisation of assigned areas.
– Assist other departments when needed.
– Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns promptly.
– Maintain a professional and welcoming environment.

Requirements & Skills

-Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
-Previous experience as a Cleaner or General Worker.
-Ability to use cleaning products and equipment safely.
-Good communication and organisational skills.
-Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
-Ability to work independently and within a team.
-Reliable and responsible work ethic.
-Clear criminal record.
-Must reside within 25km of Middelburg.

-Own transport will be advantageous.
