Minimum Requirements

-Grade 10 or equivalent (must be able to read and write)

-Willing to work shifts (day/night, weekends, public holidays)

-Able to work under pressure and rotate within different work areas

-Must be honest, reliable, and able to work in a team

-Knowledge of healthcare waste management

Duties & Responsibilities

-Clean bathrooms, toilets, showers, wards, passages, waiting areas

-Dusting, washing, scrubbing and polishing of floors, walls, windows, stairs, and fire escapes

-Clean equipment, wash dustbins, remove general and medical waste in line with health care waste protocols

-Operate heavy-duty cleaning machines

-Clean ward kitchens according to Infection Prevention and Control standards

-Rotate to any area within the cleaning scope as required
