Overview
Tsebo Solutions Group is looking for a dedicated Hygiene Assistant to join their Swellendam operations. This role focuses on supporting hygiene and cleaning services across client sites while ensuring high service standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
You will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness, servicing hygiene equipment, and delivering professional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
– Perform deep cleaning and hygiene servicing at client sites
– Service sanitary bins and ensure proper disposal of waste
– Assist with delivery of cleaning consumables to clients
– Ensure availability of cleaning chemicals and materials for daily operations
– Complete all scheduled services efficiently and on time
– Return unused stock to the warehouse and report accordingly
– Report equipment issues, service problems, or client concerns to management
– Maintain equipment in good working condition
– Respond to client complaints promptly and professionally
– Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures
– Assist with general housekeeping of warehouse, vehicles, and office areas
– Wear appropriate PPE and maintain a professional company image
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Previous hygiene or cleaning experience (advantageous)
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
