Overview
City of Tshwane is offering 30 Electrical Apprenticeship opportunities for 2026. Successful applicants will enter a full apprenticeship programme consisting of structured institutional training and practical workplace learning.

Minimum Requirements

  • Technical Matric, NCV Level 4 or N2 Certificate with:
    • Mathematics
    • Science
    • Relevant trade theory
  • Genuine interest in becoming an artisan
  • Commitment, discipline, and enthusiasm

Additional Notes

-Preference will be given to women and previously disadvantaged individuals.

-Reasonable accommodation available for persons with disabilities (as aligned to institutional thresholds).

-Applicants who already hold a trade certificate in Electrical will not be considered.

-Submitting fraudulent documents will lead to disqualification.

Stipend: R2 792,44 per month
