Overview

Franschhoek Wine Tram, a renowned tourism company in the heart of the Franschhoek Valley, is seeking vibrant, safety-conscious, and customer-oriented Bus Drivers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving and delivering exceptional service while ensuring the safety of passengers.

This role operates on a 7-day schedule, including weekends and public holidays, with time off provided.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for the Bus Driver include:

-Safely operating passenger vehicles to transport guests to various locations in and around Franschhoek.

-Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times.

-Prioritizing the safety of passengers, staff, and the public while driving.

-Contributing to the smooth operation and success of the team during service.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Reside in Franschhoek, Paarl, or Stellenbosch area.
  • Clean accident and criminal record.
  • Knowledge of vehicle care and maintenance.
  • Valid Code 10 or Code 14 driverโ€™s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • At least 5 years of experience as a professional driver.
  • Previous experience in driving passenger vehicles.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Franschhoek before starting work.
  • Attach an updated CV, a recent photograph, matric certificate, and any additional qualifications.
  • Provide current and contactable references.
