Overview
Brights Hardware is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and smooth operation of its Blackheath facility. This role focuses on maintaining equipment, buildings, and systems to ensure efficient daily operations within the store.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist with routine inspections of electrical, mechanical, and facility equipment.
– Support maintenance and repair tasks as directed by supervisors or artisans.
– Ensure tools are cleaned, maintained, and safely stored after use.
– Adhere to safety standards and industry regulations at all times.
– Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
– Complete assigned tasks within deadlines and according to instructions.
– Assist with general maintenance duties across the facility when required.
Requirements & Skills
-Matric or equivalent qualification (technical qualification advantageous).
-Minimum 1 year experience in a similar maintenance role.
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
-Team player with the ability to coordinate tasks effectively.
-Willingness to follow instructions and work under supervision.
