Overview
Tiger Brands is recruiting a General Worker in Boksburg to support production and factory operations. This role is suited to candidates seeking entry-level manufacturing jobs within the FMCG and food production sector.
The successful candidate will assist with equipment operation, hygiene compliance, safety procedures and production support in line with company standards and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in operating production equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Adhere strictly to HACCP and food safety principles
- Identify and report corrective actions where required
- Monitor and report on wastage
- Conduct routine operational checks
- Record downtime and production deviations
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
- Report unsafe conditions and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Uphold personal hygiene and factory hygiene standards
Requirements
- Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures
- Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
- Willingness to work in a production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to work shifts if required
- Strong attention to detail
