Location: Tsabong District, Botswana
Position: Principal Estates Officer II
Salary Scale: D3 (P293,652 โ€“ P323,748 per annum)
Leave: 30 working days per annum
Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Estate Management, or
  • BSc in Land Management or related field
  • Applicants must attach valid certified copies of practicing certificate from REAC

Experience:

-At least 8 years of relevant work experience

-Minimum 2 years must be at the level of Senior Estates Officer II (D4 scale or equivalent)

Main Purpose of the Job:

To coordinate and supervise valuation and management of property for Tsabong District Council.

Key Duties:

-Value land and property for acquisitions or disposals

-Review valuation tools to enhance rate payments

-Supervise subordinate staff according to set standards

-Formulate Council policies on land/building usage

-Develop and enforce strategies for effective property management

-Negotiate lease agreements and oversee renewals or repairs

-Determine rentals for Council housing for cost recovery

-Perform any other duties as assigned by management
