Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is looking for a reliable and professional Store Driver to join their Worcester branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to customers efficiently, safely, and on time while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver products to customers accurately and within the required timeframes.
– Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes.
– Handle deliveries of sensitive items such as refrigerated, fragile, or hazardous goods with care.
– Ensure all delivery documentation is completed and signed correctly.
– Process customer payments (cash and EFT) where required.
– Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety checks, and accurate logbooks.
– Report any vehicle issues, incidents, or damages to management.
– Ensure all returns, collections, and inter-branch transfers are properly handled.
– Provide friendly and professional service to customers at all times.
Requirements & Skills
-Grade 12 (Matric).
-Valid driverโs license.
-Good communication skills in English (additional languages advantageous).
-Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
-Honest, reliable, and customer-focused.
-Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.
-Willing to work retail hours, shifts, and in various weather conditions.
Advantageous:
-Previous experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
-Bilingual abilities.
