Overview

Puno Harvest Builders (PTY) LTD is a dynamic company specializing in infrastructure development, resource management, and facility management. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver with a Code 14 driver’s license and a Professional Driving Permit (PDP) to join our team on a fixed-term, full-time basis.

Responsibilities

-Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and site staff regarding load details, schedules, and any potential issues that may arise during transportation.

-Safely transport materials from suppliers to various sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

-Plan and adapt routes by considering traffic conditions and weather forecasts to ensure on-time delivery of goods.

-Operate the truck safely to transport heavy goods, including machinery and equipment, to designated locations.

-Secure cargo using appropriate methods, such as chains, straps, and covers, to prevent movement or damage during transit.

Requirements

  • A valid Code 14 driverโ€™s license with a PDP.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience driving a Code 14 truck.
  • A clean driving record with no violations.
  • Proven experience in operating trucks or heavy machinery delivery vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge and practice of safely securing and transporting large loads.
  • Ability to read and follow route instructions, GPS systems, and maps accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • A Grade 12/High School certificate is advantageous.
