Overview
adidas is hiring Retail Sales Associates and Permanent Part-Time Store Assistants across multiple locations in South Africa.
These opportunities are ideal for energetic, fashion-forward, and customer-focused individuals who are passionate about retail, sportswear, and delivering world-class customer service.
Successful candidates will support store operations, assist customers, maintain merchandising standards, and help create an outstanding shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with product selection.
– Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
– Assist with stock replenishment and movement between the stockroom and sales floor.
– Maintain merchandising displays and visual presentation standards.
– Ensure store cleanliness and housekeeping standards are maintained.
– Use effective selling techniques to achieve sales targets and upsell products.
– Protect company assets and assist with loss prevention procedures.
– Assist with ticketing, stock checks, and paperwork verification.
– Participate in store training programmes to improve product knowledge and retail skills.
– Support management with day-to-day store operations when required.
Requirements & Skills
-Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
-0โ1 year retail experience advantageous.
-Strong customer service and communication skills.
-Passion for fashion, sportswear, and retail.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
-Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
-Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
