Overview

adidas is looking for an experienced In-Store Visual Merchandiser Specialist to join its Bloemfontein retail team.

This role is ideal for creative and detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about fashion, retail presentation, and delivering world-class customer experiences. The successful candidate will help drive sales performance through effective visual merchandising standards and store presentation.


Key Responsibilities

– Implement adidas global visual merchandising standards and guidelines throughout the store.

– Ensure windows, mannequins, lighting, props, and in-store displays are maintained to high standards.

– Create attractive product displays and category presentations to enhance the customer shopping experience.

– Assist with campaign setups and night-shift merchandising changes when required.

– Conduct daily visual merchandising audits and maintain compliance reporting.

– Train store staff on visual merchandising standards, folding techniques, display presentation, and customer journey improvements.

– Update floor plans and space management layouts based on product movement and sales performance.

– Assist with competitor trend analysis and communicate market feedback to management.

– Maintain stockroom organisation and ensure proper care of visual merchandising equipment and fixtures.

– Deliver excellent customer service while supporting daily retail operations.


Requirements & Skills

-Matric / Grade 12 certificate.

-2โ€“3 years visual merchandising experience within a retail environment.

-Strong interest in fashion, sportswear, and retail trends.

-Good communication and organisational skills.

-Strong attention to detail and presentation standards.

-Ability to work independently and within a team.

-Good problem-solving and planning abilities.

-Self-motivated with the ability to follow directives and meet deadlines.

-Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
