South African Breweries (SAB) is offering an exciting Sales & Marketing Learnership opportunity for energetic and ambitious candidates who want to build a career in sales, marketing, and customer development.
This programme is designed to provide learners with practical experience in customer relationship management, sales execution, merchandising, and market development within the Tavern Class of Trade.
What Youโll Do
Successful learners will be responsible for:
โข Managing and building customer relationships with tavern owners
โข Driving weekly customer calls and resolving customer issues
โข Ensuring customer master data is updated and maintained
โข Achieving customer sales and volume targets
โข Ensuring outlets consistently buy directly from SAB
โข Monitoring stock levels and product availability
โข Managing stock rotation and quality control
โข Executing merchandising standards and promotional activities
โข Negotiating and implementing pricing and promotional campaigns
โข Managing SAB refrigeration assets and merchandising equipment
โข Conducting asset verification surveys
โข Ensuring products are correctly displayed according to SAB guidelines
โข Assisting customers with stock management systems
โข Delivering excellent customer service and support
Minimum Requirements
โข Diploma or Degree qualification
โข Valid unendorsed Code 8 driverโs licence
โข Basic computer literacy
โข Microsoft Office skills
โข Good knowledge of the local area
โข Must be willing to work weekends and flexible hours
โข Must successfully complete a driverโs assessment before appointment
