Minimum Requirements

Education:

• Grade 12 – Essential
• Grade 12 Maths with 50% – Desirable
• Grade 12 English with 50% – Desirable

Experience:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role within a retail/FMCG store environment is desirable.

This means applicants without previous retail experience may still apply, provided they meet the essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with:

• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) and processing customer purchases.
• Scanning merchandise accurately and collecting payments.
• Ensuring the safe handling of cash.
• Promoting the Clicks ClubCard and enrolling new members.
• Informing customers about current promotions.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Merchandising products and maintaining store presentation standards.
• Performing general housekeeping duties.
• Keeping up to date with products, promotions, ranges and events.
• Supporting a positive overall customer experience.
