Job Title: Government Cleaner
Location: Various Government Departments across South Africa

Salary: From R131 265 per annum (Level 02)

Various South African Government Departments are recruiting Cleaners across multiple provinces and regional offices. These positions are available in Correctional Services, Justice, Public Works, Magistrate Offices, and Provincial Departments.

Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in government facilities to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

General Responsibilities

-Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming

-Clean offices, meeting rooms and restrooms

-Empty waste bins and dispose of waste safely

-Clean mirrors, windows and glass surfaces

-Maintain cleanliness in corridors, stairways and common areas

-Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols

-Comply with health and safety regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 9, Grade 10 or ABET Level 4 (depending on post)
• Cleaning experience will be an advantage
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
