Overview:
Vodacom Lesotho is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Specialist โ Financial Planning & Analysis to support its finance team. This role plays a key part in driving strategic business decisions through accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with P2P to ensure accurate month-end cost reporting.
-Load and verify supplementary information each month.
-Perform variance analysis and highlight significant deviations from budgets.
-Maintain a detailed cost model comparing actuals against budget.
-Coordinate the annual budgeting process across departments.
-Review and align budget submissions with overall business strategy.
-Propagate approved budgets throughout the organization and provide necessary clarifications.
-Conduct monthly and rolling forecasts to support operational planning.
-Provide regular cost tracking reports to business units and flag potential risks.
-Identify and recommend efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements and Skills:
- Education: BCom degree or equivalent (mandatory)
- Experience: 3โ5 years in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or a related field
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
- Strong financial modeling and risk assessment skills
- Professional Attributes:
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
