Sportscene, part of TFG, is calling on young South Africans to apply for the YES Youth Opportunity Programme.

Minimum Requirements

Tick the boxes below and you might just get a YES from Sportscene!

Applicants should:

  • Be 18 to 28 years old.
  • Have Matric โ€“ preferable.
  • Be available and willing to work on a fixed-term 12-month contract.
  • Not have been permanently employed by a single employer continuously for more than 1 year.
  • Not be studying full-time during the year of employment (April 2026 โ€“ March 2027).
  • Not have participated in or been registered on the YES Programme before.
  • Be able to cover their own accommodation and transportation costs, where applicable.

Experience

No previous work experience is required. Training and workplace exposure will be provided.

What You Could Learn

Depending on your placement, you may gain practical experience in:

  • Customer service.
  • Assisting customers on the sales floor.
  • Stock replenishment.
  • Merchandising.
  • Maintaining store standards.
  • Teamwork and communication.
