Overview
GALXBOY is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join its Johannesburg operations team.

This opportunity is ideal for energetic and detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about warehouse operations, stock handling, and ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and efficiently.
The successful candidate will assist with warehouse distribution, inventory management, product inspections, and order fulfilment while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Inspect merchandise to ensure correct quantities and product quality.
– Check orders for missing, damaged, or defective items before dispatch.
– Perform packing and quality control checks during warehouse operations.
– Assist with distributing stock from the warehouse to retail stores.
– Prepare and package orders safely to avoid damage during transit.
– Load, unload, move, stack, and organize merchandise within the warehouse.
– Use scanning equipment to track inventory and verify stock movement.
– Receive incoming shipments and confirm stock accuracy.
– Assist with inventory management and warehouse stock control.
– Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse storage areas.
– Ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
– Identify operational issues and assist with resolving warehouse challenges.
– Meet daily productivity, packing, and shipping targets.
– Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Requirements & Skills
-Matric / Grade 12 certificate (compulsory).
-Higher education qualification will be advantageous.
-Previous warehouse or retail experience preferred.
-Familiarity with inventory control systems is advantageous.
-Strong organisational and time management skills.
-Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
