Job Opportunity
Exact, part of TFG (The Foschini Group), is inviting young South Africans to apply for the YES Youth Opportunity Programme based in Piketberg, Western Cape.
This exciting opportunity is designed to help unemployed youth gain valuable workplace experience within the retail industry while developing practical skills that can improve future employment prospects.
No experience is required.
Overview
The YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme provides unemployed youth with an opportunity to enter the job market through a structured 12-month workplace experience programme.
Successful candidates will gain exposure to various retail operations while working alongside experienced retail professionals in a fast-paced store environment.
Key Responsibilities
โข Assist customers in-store
โข Provide excellent customer service
โข Support daily store operations
โข Assist with merchandising and stock replenishment
โข Maintain store housekeeping standards
โข Assist with product displays and promotions
โข Support sales and customer engagement activities
โข Follow company policies and procedures
โข Work effectively as part of a team
โข Gain workplace skills and retail experience
Minimum Requirements
โข South African citizen
โข Aged between 18 and 29 years
โข Grade 10 minimum qualification
โข Matric will be advantageous
โข Available to work on a 12-month fixed-term contract
โข Must not be studying full-time between June 2026 and May 2027
โข Must not have participated in the YES Programme before
โข Must not have been permanently employed by one employer for more than 12 consecutive months
โข Must be willing to work in a retail environment
โข Accommodation and transport will be for the applicant’s own account
