1. Security Guards (12 Positions)
Directorate: Performance and Compliance
Division: Security Facilities and Fleet Management
Salary Grade: 03/01/02 (R225,696 to R274,444 per annum)
Requirements:
- Grade 10 minimum + Grade C PSIRA certificate
- Valid Code EB driverโs license
- Firearm competency is an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of experience in response/security duties
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in at least two official languages
Core Duties:
- Monitor premises, assist with reporting incidents
- Protect assets, ensure safety, assist with patrols and incident documentation
2. Security Officers (Armed Response) (12 Positions)
Directorate: Compliance and Performance
Division: Security Management
Salary Grade: 008 (R417,480 to R459,912 per annum)
Requirements:
- Grade 12, Grade B PSIRA + Armed Response Certificate
- Valid driverโs license
- Firearm competency certificate
- 3โ4 yearsโ experience in armed security or response
- Must be SAPS-cleared and fit for NKP program
Core Duties:
- Monitor threats, conduct patrols, manage incidents
- Maintain visible deterrents, respond to alarms, secure premises
3. General Workers (50 Positions)
Directorate: Performance and Compliance
Division: Engineering Wires
Salary Grade: 016 (R200,256 per annum)
Requirements:
- Grade 9 (Minimum acceptable standard of literacy)
- Experience in labour work an advantage
- Ability to communicate in two official languages
Core Duties:
- Daily cleaning of offices and waste areas
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and support catering
- Load/unload equipment and tools
- Assist with digging trenches, cable laying, and backfilling
