Overview:

Air Products South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced Cylinder Truck Driver to join the Packaged Gas department at our Vanderbijlpark facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe transport, delivery, and collection of gas products in both liquid and gaseous forms using cylinders and Minitanks, while maintaining compliance with SHERQ and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct daily pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections.

-Safely deliver and collect cylinders to and from customers and company facilities.

-Load and offload cylinders efficiently and securely.

-Maintain general cleanliness and housekeeping of the assigned vehicle.

-Ensure strict adherence to SHERQ standards and Dangerous Goods regulations.

-Complete all delivery paperwork and vehicle reports accurately.

-Assist with general ad hoc duties as needed.


Requirements:

-Minimum Grade 12 / Matric qualification.

Valid EC (Code 14) Driverโ€™s License with PrDP (unendorsed).

Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate.

Valid Forklift Licence.

-Minimum 5 yearsโ€™ experience in heavy-duty truck driving.

-Proven experience in handling and transporting Dangerous Goods.

-Medically fit and able to perform physical duties.

-Willingness to work flexi-hours and overtime as operationally required.

-Own reliable transport is essential.

-Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).

-Strong attention to safety, reliability, and paperwork accuracy.
