Overview
Tsebo Solutions Group (Fedics Division) is recruiting Cashiers to join their teams in Johannesburg and Middelburg. This role is ideal for customer-focused individuals who can manage transactions efficiently while supporting food service operations.
You will serve as the main point of contact for customers at the checkout, ensuring a smooth and positive experience while also assisting with basic kitchen and service duties.
Key Responsibilities
– Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
– Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times
– Assist with preparation and serving of meals and beverages
– Ensure attractive presentation of food and products
– Support stock-taking and inventory control activities
– Follow all cash handling and loss prevention procedures
– Maintain accountability for all financial transactions
– Apply product knowledge to enhance customer experience
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Previous cashier experience (essential)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork ability
- Reliable and responsible with cash handling
