Overview
Tsebo Solutions Group (Fedics Division) is seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter to join their team in Gauteng. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and are passionate about delivering excellent service.
You will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality dining experience, supporting beverage service, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation in service areas.
Key Responsibilities
– Serve food, beverages, and refreshments to customers professionally
– Prepare and mix drinks as required
– Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including coffee and beverage stations
– Wash glassware and ensure proper presentation of serving items
– Arrange displays of beverages and related stock
– Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
– Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions
– Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales
– Assist with inventory tracking and stock control
– Support coordination of service operations when required
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work as part of a team
