Overview
Tsebo Solutions Group (Fedics Division) is recruiting General Assistants for multiple locations. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining cleanliness and supporting daily hospitality operations.
You will assist with housekeeping, kitchen support, and general cleaning duties to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas
– Clean kitchens, dining areas, scullery, and food preparation equipment
– Wash and sanitise crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils
– Remove waste and ensure proper disposal procedures are followed
– Clean fridges, storage areas, floors, walls, and windows
– Ensure safety signage is placed during cleaning activities
– Maintain cleanliness of both front and back-of-house areas
– Assist in different departments when required
– Follow all health and safety regulations and company standards
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Previous experience as a General Assistant (hospitality or healthcare preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, honest, and hardworking
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work efficiently
- Good hand-eye coordination and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
