Overview
Ster-Kinekor is recruiting Multi Skilled Employees for its cinema operations in Cape Town and Germiston.
This opportunity is ideal for energetic and customer-focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Successful candidates will assist across multiple cinema operations including cashier duties, catering, cinema assistance, food preparation, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist customers at box office sales, catering counters, and collections.
– Prepare popcorn, slush drinks, and other cinema snacks according to company standards.
– Maintain high standards of customer service and guest experience.
– Ensure posters, promotional material, and product displays are neat and updated.
– Assist with stock preparation, storage, and merchandising.
– Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, counters, equipment, and storerooms.
– Ensure food products are sealed, packaged, and stored correctly.
– Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
– Support shift preparation and general cinema operations when required.
– Maintain professional appearance and uphold company standards.
Requirements & Skills
-Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
-0โ1 year experience in a similar customer service or retail role advantageous.
-Basic MS Office knowledge.
-Knowledge of VISTA/MYCC systems advantageous.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Good organisational and administrative abilities.
-Computer literacy skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong teamwork and customer service orientation.
-Professional, presentable, and reliable attitude.
