Overview
Lion Smelter is seeking a motivated Assistant (Operator) Loading to support plant operations. This role is ideal for candidates interested in gaining experience in a smelting or heavy industry environment while contributing to safe and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist with monitoring and controlling production processes.
– Support loading operations and ensure smooth workflow.
– Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental standards.
– Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area.
– Work closely with the Shift Coordinator and operational team.
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HSEC (Health, Safety, Environment, and Community) systems.
- Experience in a smelter, furnace, milling, pelletizing, kiln operations, or similar heavy industry environment is advantageous.
