Overview
Triton Express is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Worker Truck Assistant to join their East London team. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit and able to assist with loading, off-loading, and handling goods while supporting daily logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
– Load and off-load goods from delivery vehicles at the depot
– Assist with off-loading goods at customer premises
– Stack and organise goods in designated areas
– Ensure all goods are securely loaded and transported safely
– Support drivers during deliveries and collections
– Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping of work areas
– Follow company procedures and safety standards at all times
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Physically fit and able to handle manual labour
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work overtime and irregular hours when required
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, honest, and well-presented
