Overview:

BEDCO is recruiting a qualified and experienced Operations Management Consultant to join its panel of Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs). This consultant will be responsible for assisting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and implementing systems that enhance productivity and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse SME operations and recommend practical improvements
  • Assist businesses in designing and implementing operational strategies, systems, and processes
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and advise on corrective actions
  • Provide support on supply chain management, resource planning, and production scheduling
  • Conduct training on operations best practices and efficiency tools
  • Help establish quality control standards and process monitoring systems

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 yearsโ€™ experience in operations consulting, business improvement, or production management
  • Strong understanding of business process optimization and workflow systems
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to tailor solutions to the specific needs of small and medium businesses
