Overview

Fedics (a part of Tsebo) is looking for a customer-focused and reliable Cashier to join the Pretoria team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining excellent service standards, supporting food and beverage service, and assisting with kitchen duties when required.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with cashier experience who enjoy working with customers in a fast-paced catering or hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

– Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately.

– Handle cash and card payments according to company procedures.

– Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional customer relationships.

– Assist customers efficiently at the point of sale.

– Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards in the work area.

– Support meal and beverage preparation and serving when required.

– Assist with stock-taking and inventory control activities.

– Ensure products are presented attractively and professionally.

– Follow all cash management and loss prevention procedures.

-Maintain accountability and accuracy when handling company funds.

Requirements & Skills

-Matric / Grade 12 certificate.

-Previous cashier experience is essential.

-Strong customer service and communication skills.

-Good attention to detail and accuracy.

-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

-Basic understanding of till operations and payment processing.

-Willingness to assist in kitchen and food service duties when required.

-Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
