Overview
The Department of Defence invites applications for two (2) Cleaner positions at Air Force Base Langebaanweg. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in offices and other facilities within the base.
Minimum Requirements
-Minimum ABET qualification
-No experience required
-Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal)
-Knowledge of basic maintenance of low-complexity machinery
-Knowledge of basic hand tools and cleaning equipment
-Ability to operate cleaning machines
-Ability to perform routine tasks
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
-Perform cleaning duties in offices and facilities (sweeping, vacuuming, window cleaning, dusting, polishing furniture and floors)
-Clean ablution facilities
-Report workplace defects to the immediate supervisor
