About the Learnership
The DHL Learnership Programme is designed to equip unemployed youth with valuable skills and practical work experience in international freight forwarding.
During the programme, learners will receive structured training while gaining hands-on exposure to import, export and freight forwarding operations in a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Learner, you will:
-Support import and export operational processes.
-Assist with freight forwarding activities.
-Receive, reconcile and process documentation.
-Consolidate and summarise operational information.
-Maintain operational systems as instructed.
-Perform administrative duties such as scanning, filing and reporting.
-Follow established company procedures and operational processes.
-Work closely with team members to support daily operations.
-Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding assigned tasks.
-Resolve routine work-related issues under supervision.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or a relevant qualification in Transport & Logistics or Business.
- A minimum of 65% in English in Matric.
- Be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be unemployed.
- Not currently studying.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office) will be an advantage.
Selection will be conducted in accordance with DHL’s Employment Equity Policy.
