Overview
AVBOB is looking for a General Worker to join its team in Kempton Park, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic and neat office environment.
This is a permanent junior-level opportunity with a well-established organisation that has been operating for more than 100 years and places emphasis on employee development and strong workplace values.
Key Responsibilities
– Perform general cleaning duties and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the office.
– Vacuum, sweep and mop office floors.
– Dust office furniture and flowers.
– Empty and clean waste bins.
– Clean hand basins, toilets and sinks.
– Ensure toilets are stocked with toilet paper and soap.
– Prepare tea and coffee when required.
– Wash dishes and dishcloths.
– Refill tea and coffee dispensers.
– Refill the office water cooler.
– Clean office windows.
– Help maintain a neat and presentable working environment.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum Grade 10.
- Previous cleaning experience will be an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in English will be an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Reliable and able to carry out routine cleaning duties effectively.
