Overview
Mediclinic George is inviting applications for a Pharmacy Front Shop Assistant position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the retail pharmacy front shop, with a particular focus on ensuring that sufficient stock is available, assisting with financial processes and completing general front shop administration.
This opportunity requires Grade 12, while previous front shop experience is listed as desirable rather than an essential minimum requirement.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage and maintain retail pharmacy front shop stock.
– Help ensure adequate stock levels and availability.
– Follow the required stock management processes.
– Manage relevant financial processes within the pharmacy front shop.
– Perform general front shop administrative duties.
– Maintain accurate records relating to front shop activities.
– Apply appropriate customer service principles when assisting customers.
– Use relevant retail and computer systems when performing duties.
– Support the efficient daily operation of the pharmacy front shop.
Requirements and Skills
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12.
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- An understanding of stock management processes.
- Financial acumen.
- Understanding and application of customer service principles.
Advantageous Experience and Knowledge
The following will be beneficial:
- Previous front shop experience within a retail pharmacy environment.
- Knowledge or experience using UNISOLV retail software systems.
