Ster-Kinekor is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join the Fourways team as Cinema Food & Ticketing Assistants. This role forms part of the cinema operations team and involves working across multiple functions within the cinema environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work in various areas including:
- Box Office Sales (Ticketing)
- Catering Sales and Collections
- Cinema Assistant duties
- Waiter services
- Popcorn and refreshments preparation
- Any other cinema-related function as directed by a Supervisor
Additional duties include:
-Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and promotional activities to support upselling
-Ensuring presentation standards are maintained (posters, displays, age restrictions, disclaimers)
-Preparing popcorn, slush and other food items according to quality standards
-Assisting with shift preparation where required
-Maintaining product quality and integrity
-Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen, equipment and service areas
-Maintaining stockrooms and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards
-Adhering to Health & Safety requirements and reporting schedules
-Wearing the correct uniform and maintaining professional appearance at all times
-Conducting yourself in a manner that reflects positively on the company
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
Experience & Knowledge
- 0โ1 year work experience in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite
- VISTA/MYCC system knowledge will be advantageous

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking ability
- Computer literacy
