Overview
TWK Agri is recruiting a Workshop Assistant to support daily operations within the Mechanisation division. This role is ideal for individuals interested in equipment maintenance and workshop operations, offering hands-on experience in a structured agricultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist with basic maintenance and repair of equipment
– Load and off-load machinery and parts safely
– Clean and prepare equipment and components for servicing
– Organise and store tools, parts, and workshop materials
– Conduct stock counts and report any shortages or discrepancies
– Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and yard
– Dispose of waste according to company procedures
– Follow all safety regulations and operational guidelines
– Be available for overtime and weekend work when required
Requirements & Skills
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest will be an advantage
