Overview
Pinnacle College Raslouw, part of the ADvTECH Schools Division, is seeking a caring and energetic Aftercare Assistant to support learners in a structured after-school environment. This role focuses on supervising children, assisting with daily routines, and creating a safe and nurturing space for learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
– Supervise learners during aftercare hours
– Assist with lunch routines, including serving and clearing
– Support learners with homework and basic academic tasks
– Facilitate aftercare activities and ensure a safe environment
– Build positive relationships with learners and parents
– Maintain discipline and ensure learnersโ well-being at all times
Requirements & Skills
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Minimum 3 yearsโ experience in a similar role or environment
- Strong communication skills with children and parents
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to work well with young children
- Caring and nurturing approach
- Ability to work as part of a team
