Nortex Quality Towels invites applications from suitably qualified Botswana citizens for the position of Purchasing/Procurement Clerk based at its factory in Francistown.
Overview
The Purchasing/Procurement Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that stock item lists are maintained at required levels and that departmental requisitions are processed, placed and followed up until goods and services are delivered on time.
Key Performance Areas
- Cost-effective procurement of goods and outsourced services
- Ensuring availability of materials
- Timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and invoices
- Timely distribution of non-stock materials to user departments
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or CIPS Level 6
- Ability to negotiate with and persuade suppliers and stakeholders
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Basic knowledge and understanding of stock management and stock control
- At least 2–5 years relevant work experience
