Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is hiring 17 Merchandisers across multiple stores nationwide. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy retail, customer service, and maintaining well-organised, fully stocked shelves to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
– Restock shelves and ensure product availability at all times
– Ensure correct pricing, labelling, and product placement
– Monitor expiry dates and remove damaged or expired stock
– Maintain attractive and organised product displays
– Assist with stock counts and inventory management
– Report low stock levels, discrepancies, and damaged goods
– Support loading and off-loading of stock
– Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store and storeroom
– Provide excellent customer service and assist with product queries
– Follow company merchandising standards and procedures
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Up to 6 months retail experience
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work retail hours
Advantageous:
- 1 year retail experience
- Knowledge of merchandising and FMCG environment
- Bilingual abilities
