Overview

The Capital Hotels is recruiting 7 Receptionists across multiple locations in South Africa. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service, responsible for creating a seamless and memorable guest experience from check-in to check-out.


Key Responsibilities

– Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out processes

– Maintain guest accounts and process payments accurately

– Handle guest queries, requests, and special requirements professionally

– Assist with reservations and booking enquiries

– Ensure a high level of customer service at all times

– Manage front desk operations and maintain a professional reception area

– Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery


Requirements & Skills

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Hospitality qualification (advantageous)
  • 1โ€“2 years receptionist or front desk experience (preferably in hospitality)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office and hotel systems such as Protel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle guest concerns professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Presentable, professional, and well-spoken
  • Honest, reliable, and able to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work shifts and as part of a team

Remuneration

  • Salary: R8,000 per month
