Overview
The Capital Hotels is hiring 4 Barmen across multiple locations. This role is ideal for energetic and customer-focused individuals who can deliver high-quality beverage service while maintaining excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails and speciality drinks
– Deliver fast, friendly, and professional service to guests and staff
– Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
– Manage stock levels and assist with inventory control
– Ensure all drinks are prepared according to company standards
– Handle customer queries and ensure satisfaction
– Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures
– Work closely with team members to ensure smooth service delivery
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 1โ2 years experience as a barman
- Strong bar skills including cocktail preparation
- Knowledge of hospitality systems (Protel advantageous)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Honest, reliable, and professional
- Presentable and well-spoken
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Remuneration
- Salary: R8,000 per month
