Overview
Gold One Group Limited is recruiting an Assistant General Underground for its mining operations in Brakpan.

Successful candidates will assist with underground duties, maintain safety standards, and support mining operations while complying with workplace procedures.
Minimum Requirements
-Grade 11 or equivalent ABET Level
-MQA Competency B Certificate
-Ability to communicate in English
-Fluency in any of South Africaโs 11 official languages
-South African citizenship
-Clear criminal record
-Must be medically fit to work underground

Key Responsibilities
Underground Operations
-Perform underground duties safely as trained
-Work rotational shifts underground
-Follow supervisor instructions and operational procedures
-Ensure work areas meet housekeeping standards
Safety & Compliance
-Follow Health and Safety policies and procedures
-Adhere to MHSA standards
-Observe equipment and material conditions
-Report operational issues or safety hazards immediately
General Duties
- Assist with mining-related tasks as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation underground
- Support supervisors and mining teams with operational tasks
