Overview
Curro, a leading independent school group in South Africa, is seeking 2 Bus Drivers to join its transport team. These roles are responsible for safely transporting learners to and from school while ensuring discipline, safety, and compliance with all road regulations.
Positions available:
- Code 14 Bus Driver โ Curro Roodeplaat (Start: 01 July 2026)
- Code 10 Bus Driver โ Curro Langebaan (Start: 01 January 2027)
Key Responsibilities
– Safely transport learners to and from school and school-related activities
– Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance needs
– Ensure learner safety during boarding, transit, and drop-off
– Maintain discipline and enforce safety rules on the bus
– Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently
– Comply with all road traffic laws and school transport policies
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Valid Code 10 or Code 14 driverโs licence with a valid PDP
- Minimum 3 yearsโ experience as a bus or professional driver
- Clean criminal record (essential)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Presentable, responsible, and reliable
- Commitment to working in an educational environment and upholding school values
