Overview

Pedros is looking for energetic and customer-focused Cashiers to join its restaurant teams in Paarl, Pinetown and Polokwane Central.

These opportunities form part of new restaurant openings, giving successful candidates the chance to join the teams from the early stages of operations and develop their skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Cashiers will be responsible for processing customer orders and payments, operating point-of-sale systems, promoting specials, assisting customers and maintaining an organised front-counter area.

Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred, making these opportunities potentially suitable for entry-level candidates who have strong numerical and customer-service skills.

Key Responsibilities

– Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

– Take and process customer orders accurately.

– Process cash, card and digital payments.

– Operate the restaurant’s point-of-sale (POS) system.

– Assist with basic POS-related issues when required.

– Issue receipts to customers.

– Process approved refunds or exchanges according to company procedures.
