Carrus Group is recruiting experienced Code 14 (EC) Drivers to join its team based in Milnerton, Cape Town.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified heavy vehicle drivers with experience operating Horse and Trailer trucks. The positions are offered on a fixed-term basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance and operational requirements.

About the Role

Carrus Group is looking for professional and safety-conscious Code 14 Drivers to transport goods efficiently while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures.

The successful candidates will be responsible for operating Horse and Trailer trucks, completing deliveries on schedule and ensuring that vehicles are handled safely and responsibly at all times.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

-Operate a Horse and Trailer truck safely and responsibly.

-Transport goods to designated destinations on time.

-Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.

-Report vehicle faults or mechanical issues promptly.

-Ensure loads are transported safely and securely.

-Comply with all road traffic laws and company policies.

-Complete delivery documentation accurately.

-Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles.

-Deliver excellent customer service during collections and deliveries.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

-Grade 12 (Matric) or National Senior Certificate.

-A valid Code 14 (EC) Driver’s Licence.

-A valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).

-A minimum of 3 years’ experience operating a Horse and Trailer truck.
